Applied functional neuroscience

We understand the brain to transform learning and performance.

One science, one model, two worlds: Clinical Neuroscience and NeuroPerformance, integrated through MNSI — the same functional framework applied by NeuroSports USA.

About us

CENPA IPS is a neuropsychology and applied psychopedagogy center that works under the same functional scientific framework developed together with NeuroSports USA: from functional assessment to measurable results, applied in both clinical and performance settings.

How we work

Three principles guide every assessment and intervention at CENPA.

Assessment before the plan

No intervention begins without a complete assessment. The plan responds to what we find — never the other way around.

Plain language for families

A technical report is useless if no one understands it. We explain every finding in concrete, actionable terms.

Real follow-through

We track progress with the same rigor as the initial assessment, and adjust the plan whenever it's needed.

From functional assessment to a measurable outcome

The same six steps organize every process, whether clinical or performance-focused.

01

Functional assessment

A structured baseline of cognitive and functional priorities before any intervention begins.

02

Functional brain networks (RSFN)

Interprets how the brain's functional networks sustain attention, behavior, and performance.

03

MNSI core

A sequential framework that organizes the intervention from preparation to functional transfer.

04

Clinical neuroscience

Clinical pathways for cognitive, developmental, neurological, and behavioral needs.

05

NeuroPerformance

Functional neuroscience applied to performance under real conditions of pressure and decision-making.

06

Functional outcomes

Tracking practical progress in clinical, academic, everyday, or athletic settings.

One scientific foundation. Two functional applications.

The same functional neuroscience framework supports clinical care and performance development, respecting each person's specific goals.

Clinical

Clinical neuroscience

Assessment and rehabilitation for cognitive, developmental, neurological, and behavioral needs.

  • Pediatric population
  • Adolescents
  • Young adults
  • Adults
  • Older adults
  • Academic and everyday functioning
Performance

NeuroPerformance

Functional neuroscience applied to attention, decision-making, reaction time, cognitive endurance, and transfer to sport.

  • Youth and developing athletes
  • Professional athletes
  • All sports disciplines
  • Decision-making under pressure
  • Reaction time
  • Attention under pressure

MNSI: from preparation to functional transfer

The six phases that structure every intervention, in the order they occur.

1

Regulation

Prepares attention, arousal level, and emotional state.

2

Neuromodulation

Supports targeted priming of specific brain networks.

3

Digital cognitive training

Activates attention, memory, processing speed, and executive function.

4

Analog integration

Connects cognitive performance with symbolic, functional tasks.

5

Sensorimotor consolidation

Reinforces cognitive change through movement and controlled response.

6

Functional transfer

Applies trained skills to daily life, academics, clinical needs, or sport.

Methods that organize science, intervention, and transfer

RSFN, MNSI, and NeuroPerformance are distinct methods connected within a single scientific architecture.

RSFN

Functional brain networks

A functional framework for interpreting how brain systems, cognitive processes, and behavioral outcomes interact.

MNSI

Multimodal neurosequential integration

Organizes the intervention into a sequence that prepares brain state, activates specific networks, trains cognition, and transfers gains into real life.

NeuroPerformance

Applied performance

Functional neuroscience applied to attention, decision-making, reaction time, and transfer to sport.

Why families, athletes, and schools choose CENPA

Since 2010

assessing and treating cognitive, emotional, and learning processes across Colombia.

One framework

RSFN, MNSI, and NeuroPerformance — the same framework applied by NeuroSports USA — connects clinical care with performance.
